Summary:Analyses of the bulk chemical compositions, rare gases and trace elements of Yamato (a), (b), (c) and (d) meteorites have been carried out, along with their Fe-57 Mössbauer analysis. Chemical analyses, together with some petrological data, indicate that Yamato (a), (b), (c) and (d) meteorites can be identified as estatite chondrite, Ca-poor achondrite, carbonaceous chondrite Type III, and iron-rich bronzite chondrite, respectively.
