Summary:A method is developed for XRF analysis of Rb, Sr, Ba, Zr, Ti, Mn, V and Cr using the standard-background technique equalizing the data with a constant internal standard. The samples are ground into powder and pressed in tablets on a substrate of boric acid. The method's sensitivity is 10-40 ppm and its relative error is + or -6%. [T.R.]
