Summary:These Zn-Cu sulphide deposits in a zone some 200 km long and 40 km wide are associated with acid volcanic rocks, skarns, limestones, and cordierite-anthopyllite rocks. Data presented include the chemical characteristics of the ore, ore mineralogy, petrography of the host and wall rocks, geometry of the deposits, reserves, and geological, aeromagnetic and gravimetric parameters for the surrounding areas. The data were converted to binary form and subjected to cluster and characteristic analyses, numerical data being subjected to regression and factor analyses. The most significant results were achieved with the aeromagnetic (and the least significant with gravimetric) data. The most promising part of the area is at the SE end of the zone. [R.A.H.]
