Summary:Syn-sedimentary deformation is indicated in this region by conjugate growth faults and shear zones, and by multiple angular unconformities. The majority of the syn-sedimentary faults are shown to be dynamically controlled and to have developed in response to horizontal NNE-SSW extensions. [R.A.H.]
