Summary:The 'wollastonite' associated with calcite in veins in dolerite at the Hermitage (Teilhard de Chardin & Pelletier, Bulletin Annuel de la Societe Jersiaise, 7, 1911, p 99) was almost certainly prehnite which has now been positively identified from this locality. Likewise the 'epistilbite' from St Lawrence, Jersey, Channel Islands, (Ibid., 9, 1921, p 293), is now shown to be adularia. [R.A.H.]
