Summary:Gamma-ray spectrometric analyses for Th and U on a number of rock types show normal Th/U ratios (approx 3.5) in augite syenite and the roof series, but abnormally low ratios (down to 0.5) in kakortokites and lujavrites, related to accumulation of eudialyte. Rocks with high ratios are never found in the intrusion, indicating loss of material which is probably found in veins outside the intrusion. [W.S.W.]
