Summary:The structure of davreuxite, MnAl6Si4O17(OH)2, (P21/m, a 9.518(6) b 5.753(2), c 12.04(1) A, beta 108.00(5)o, Z = 2) was determined from 1079 unique observed reflections (R = 0.06). The structure, related to the sorosilicates, is a mixed-group silicate with isolated (SiO4) groups and (Si2O6(OH)) groups. [J.A.Z.]
