Summary:A new value for the CO2-H2O oxygen isotopic fractionation factor of 1.04145 +- 0.00015 (2 sigma) has been determined. The data have been normalized to the V-SMOW/V-SLAP scale and were obtained by measuring isotopic compositions with the guanidine hydrochloride and chlorine trifluoride techniques.
