Summary:This volume represents the proceedings of the NATO Advanced Research Workshop on Origins of Igneous Layering, held in Narsarsuaq, South Greenland, August 4-15, 1986. It contains 20 papers, a section of black-and-white photographs of igneous layering, and appendices by T.N. Irvine with a glossary of terms and a tabulated presentation of processes involved in the formation and development of layered igneous rocks.
