Summary:The NW boundary zone of the Central Metasedimentary belt in this area is a stack of alternating tonalitic and syenitic crystalline thrust sheets transported NW on out-of-sequence ductile thrust zones at 1060 m.y. Kinematics of the deformation are complex. Pelite(?) and marble played a mechanically significant role during localization and transport of the thrust sheets. [R.E.S.]
