Summary:In this study the two phases graphite and mixed volatile fluid, forming the seven species C, CO, CO2, CH4, H2O, H2, and O2 are considered. The provisional equation presented should provide P-T- relationships, applicable to solid- media, high-P experiments performed with external buffering at high . It should also give reasonable estimates of the for unbuffered experiments with talc-Pyrex assemblies. [R.E.S.]
