Summary:During 1984 and 1985, the Geological Survey of Finland carried out regional geochemical mapping of till, at a scale of 1:2 000 000, as part of a programme to produce data for the first Geochemical Atlas of Finland. The atlas is designed to give comprehensive background information on the distribution of elements in rocks, soils and the surficial environment. [Authors' abstract] [R.E.S.]
