Summary:Small molybdenite and molybdenite-chalcopyrite deposits are described from Murvey and Mace Head. Chalcopyrite is widely disseminated in the host-rock but molybdenite has been largely concentrated in fracture zones by hydrothermal activity. Mineralization may be related to movement along major regional structural discontinuities, and to the location of different country rock units. [R.E.]
