Summary:The samples cover the age range 1900-1200 m.y., from the early Svecokarelian thermo-tectonic episode to approx 400 m.y. after cratonization. The epsilonNd-values (= or < +2 for synorogenic and = or < +3.5 for anorogenic rocks) suggest a less depleted character for this mantle than usual. These metagreywacke samples have epsilonNd values which indicate an influx of older crustal material into the Bothnian basin. [R.E.S.]
