Summary:In the NW part of the Tenda massif of Corsica, it has been shown that a calc-alkaline granodiorite intrudes an early Permian dacitic volcano-sedimentary (VS) sequence and that younger calc- alkaline granites of leucomonzogranitic composition intrude both granodiorite and VSsequence. The calc-alkaline granites were emplaced in subvolcanic to volcanic-plutonic environments. The stepwise zircon evaporation method of age determination gives ages from 294 +- 11 to 288 +- 13 m.y. for dacites, 305 +- 12 m.y. for granodiorites and 284 +- 20 m.y. for leucomonzogranites. Their field relations and the similarity in both composition and age between dacites and granodiorites suggest their derivation from the same magma. Leucomonzogranites intrude earlier plutonic units and their own volcanic ejecta. [M.L.]
