Summary:Widenmannite, Pb2UO2(CO3), is recorded in a localized patch of Pb-U-Cu mineralization near the base of the coastal cliff ∼ 0.75 km W of Botallack village. Indexed XRD data are given; a 8.971, b 9.381, c 5.002 Å. The IR spectrum and semi-quantitative EDX results are also given. Associated minerals include dewindtite, intermediate members of the torbernite-zeunerite series, kasolite, cerussite, malachite and an unknown basic lead uranyl carbonate (U:Pb ratio ∼ 1:4). [R.A.H.]
