|Summary:||Opinions still vary widely on the origin of andalusite-sillimanite-bearing granite. The combination of field observation and laboratory study of the andalusite-sillimanite-bearing granite in the Daguzhai two-mica granite stock in the Taoshan composite mass has led to the preliminary conclusion that andalusite and silimanite in granite is of contact hydrothermal metamorphic origin.
