Summary:Greyish green crystals of gehlenite in the Predazzo-Monzoni area of Trentino, N Italy, are described. The associated white, creamy white, yellow or yellowish brown tetragonal crystals are found to be grossular pseudomorphs after gehlenite and also contain some lizardite. The so-called 'fuggerite' variety is probably a partial or complete pseudomorph of lizardite after gehlenite. [R.A.H.]
