Summary:Val Graveglia is the type locality for eight minerals (gravegliaite, mediate, palenzonaite, reppiaite, saneroite, strontipiemontite, tiragalloite and vanadomalayaite), and is one of the few reported localities for other rare species including gamagarite, marsturite, nabiasite, haradaite and pyrobelonite. Descriptions and photographs of these and other species are presented. This Mn deposit has also produced exceptional specimens of tinzenite, sursassite and ganophyllite. [R.A.H.]
