Summary:Swarms of parallel lodes with an assemblage of quartz-feldspar-wolframite-cassiterite-muscovite with variable amounts of löllingite, Cu-Sn sulphides and molybdenite are recognized to be one of the characteristics of the pneumatolytic stage of mineralization in peraluminous, S-type granites. Structural constraints can be placed on their conditions of deposition. [R.A.H.]
