Summary:The distribution of In and Ga in cassiterites from 15 different Sn and Sn-W deposits has been studied and compared to that of Mn, As and W contents. Both In and Ga are located in the cassiterite lattice, with values (ppm) ranging 0.3-300 for In and 0.4-200 for Ga. Cassiterite associated with high-P fractionated granites is characterized by high Ga, In and Mn, whereas in other deposits Ga is low; the In/Ga ratio remains constant in a given deposit. [R.A.H.]
