Summary:These mineralogically complex, epigenetic ore veins are hosted by the Bergslagen ore province. Using paragenetically well controlled samples, there is a considerable variation in isotope data; in particular sulphate δ 34S (3 to +11 0/00) and carbonate δ 18O (10 to 23 0/00) trends suggest an evolution related to cooling and evolving mineral formation, starting with regional metamorphism at 500-600°C and formation of silicates and arsenates, and ending with hydrated arsenates and arsenites at ≤ 70uC.
