Summary:Conventional multi-grain U-Pb zircon results from these three mafic layered inclusions in Finnish Lapland are summarized. Gabbroic rocks from the Koitelainen and Akanvaara intrusions give ages of 2439 ± 3 and 2436 ± 6 m.y., respectively. Granophyres and quartz monzonites give U-Pb ages of the same order. The contact of the Keivitsa intrusion lies only ∼ 1 km S of edge of the Koitelainen intrusion; nearly concordant zircon from an olivine pyroxenite gives an age of 2058 ± 4 m.y. considered as the age of the intrusion.
