Summary:A small body of carbonatite (approx 1 km2) occurs on the E edge of the Ambela granitic complex at Khungai village. Calcite and dolomite are accompanied by diopside, aegirine-augite, apatite, sphene, albite, epidote, monazite, zircon, pyrochlore and quartz. [R.A.H.]
