Summary:Gratonite is reported as well-formed trigonal crystals up to 2 mm in size from the dumps of the North Laxey mine, by the side of the Ballaglass stream. The mean of three analyses by EDAX gave Pb 72.8, As 11.0, Sb n.d., S 17.0, = 100.8, giving a formula Pb9.9As4.2S15.0. [R.A.H.]
