Summary:The nature and characteristics of this slide are described following an outline of the regional structure and stratigraphy of the Dalradian metasediments. Evidence for the kinematic evolution of this ductile fault during oblique thrusting and subsequent ductile extension is presented and regional correlations made with similar structures in NW Ireland.
