Summary:Tonalites grading to granodiorites, true granodiorites and monzogranites crop out in this area, as contiguous intrusions. Geochemical relationships (39 rock analyses for major and trace elements) of the three rock groups are unusual for granitic associations. It is proposed that two separated, at least in part independent, sources of the tonalite and granodiorite magmas should be assumed; their relationships with the granites are open to more than one interpretation. This plutonic massif now needs a re-examination in the light of the new geochemical data. [R.E.S.]
