The form of occurrence of rare and precious elements in Zidarovo ore field

|Summary:||In addition to Cu, Pb and Zn ores in the Zidarovo ore field, three natural associations of rare elements are noted: Se-Te-Ag-Bi, Ag- Au and Sb-As-Cu. The Bi-bearing minerals are native bismuth, bismuthinite, aikinite, emplectite and wittichenite; Te and Ag are mainly in tetradymite and hessite; Au occurs either as native gold or as electrum; Se is in clausthalite. These minerals show a concentric zonality in the ore field and are contained in admixtures with chalcopyrite, pyrite, sphalerite, galena, bornite, etc. [R.A.H.]|
